The people who once lived in these areas are either dead or they have moved to Baltimore County. These areas were still viable back in the 1989's and the 1990's. They need to be torn down and built back into what they once were.

I grew up in New Brighton, right off Jersey street. Shot a little movie in "Famous New York Pizza" It's Albanian owned but actually delicious. That is the proper hood. Night time, someone gets shot, definitely stabbed and always robbed. 2:00 These are "The Projects", worst possible place to at night. This entire area is Blood territory. There is a park near these Projects called "Mahoney Park", every single child is taught you do not stay in the park when the sun starts going down. It is an unwritten rule for every child in that entire neighborhood. Pizza comes to your door faster than the police. The hood is crazy. To my fellow 31/61/Curtis classmates. Hello.
